British double decker bus conversion makes for roomy RV

Wow! This is very cool RV -- a meticulously remodeled red British double decker bus converted to a spacious two-story motorhome. In this four minute video, see the inside and outside of this unique recreational vehicle. But there is good news and bad news about this rig: The good news: it gets 15 miles per gallon. The bad news: top speed is 55 miles per hour. Oh, if you really like the motorhome you can buy it. Follow the link posted on the video.

  1. Cannot view this video or the others on this newsletter. Is it my computer or is something wrong.

  2. What a neat rig! I rode on these in London many years ago (1970's) and had heard they had been taken out of service.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

  4. Hi there
I saw one the other day hcoming trough our town. It was the genuine London Transport Double Decker and spoke to the owner. He had no problem with it, it was not a race horse, but it was a rather thirsty beast. He converted himself and was now on a world tour. He also had a shipping container specially modified so he could ship it to another continent. Been doing this for 15 years now.

  6. Other than the cramped cockpit and righthand drive (not good for extended drives - I know, I deliver r/h drive trash trucks with same problem), I love the meticulous care in restoring and converting this beautiful creation!
