Oh my goodness! Huge RV traffic jam

Watch this and weep as you witness a parade of hundreds of RVs of all shapes and sizes gridlocked on a two-lane highway after a busy weekend at Southern California Borrego Springs area. See a motorhome converted into a rolling office

See how an RVing couple remodeled their Class C motorhome into a rolling home office. There isn't a whole lot of room once the desks and office chairs were installed, but the setup works. And there's even room for a big screen TV, and an occasional party.

Which RV dump system works best, fastest?

What's the one system the RV owner wants to be easy? Dumping the holding tanks! In this short video from Coachmen, Bill Easy conducts a com-poo-tition using fake sewage (pretty funny, and pretty disgusting looking, too!) to see which of two dumping system performed the best. And there's even a tank-dumping race to see which system worked fastest! Even though this is a promotional video from Coachmen, it's good entertainment.

Camping in a parking lot: the reality

If you have ever spent the night in your RV in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart, Sam's Club or other big box store, then you probably know the routine -- pull in, blend in, do a little shopping (optional), then hop in bed for a good night's sleep. That's best case: but what about those noisy street sweepers that show up early in the morning? Or worse yet, how about the security guard who knocks on your door at 3 a.m. and orders you vamoose! In this short video, shot in the wee hours of the morning, you can get an idea of how a camping experience at a big box store might be.
