Which RV dump system works best, fastest?

What's the one system the RV owner wants to be easy? Dumping the holding tanks! In this short video from Coachmen, Bill Easy conducts a com-poo-tition using fake sewage (pretty funny, and pretty disgusting looking, too!) to see which of two dumping system performed the best. And there's even a tank-dumping race to see which system worked fastest! Even though this is a promotional video from Coachmen, it's good entertainment.

  1. Unsatisfying results, inconclusive data ,cleve approach and modestly entertaining. I'd give it a 5 out of a possible 10 gpadanny@yahoo

  2. This is a very good idea from Coachman but the video is completely stupid and disgusting.

  3. This is basically a sales promotion from Coachman, a little funny (what they use to imitate black water). I expected something else from the hype; like maybe a comparison between waste systems anyone with any rig can use; not a sales pitch for a Coachman motorhome.

  4. Looks like a good system, and I appreciate an RV company going "out of the box" to present their product.

  5. How would you hook a "honey wagon" up to that? Seems like a good idea if you are dumping yourself however.

  6. Clever video.

But no revelation. I own an Excel 5ver by Peterson Industries. They designed and offer the same gizmo, which they call the Pivot Ease. Big (6’?) PVC pipe swings out. You unscrew the cap and pull out septic hose. It’s great!!

Maybe Coachman should credit Peterson for the idea they stole. :>
