Boring day for RVer Cindy

Cindy and Rick are on the road in their Flair motorhome in tiny Isleton, Calif. Cindy reports on their day -- of traveling on "skinny roads" where she thought she was going to die. And then they arrived in Isleton where she and Rick were set to eat crawdads (Isleton is on the Sacramento River), but the restaurant was closed. So that was pretty bad. Then Rick left the door open so the cat got out. So Cindy and Rick got in a big fight over that. But later when they were getting ready to move on, the cat appeared from beneath the dashboard. As Cindy files this three minute report, the wind howls, which Cindy doesn't like one bit. Frankly, after viewing this video you wonder why this whiny woman doesn't just check into a hotel or stay home!

  1. I love to go in our 5er. can't wait to make it our life. I wouldn't go across the street with this obnoxious woman. Why doesn't her husband leave the door open and boot her out and keep the cat and drive off. :)

  2. Yechh! I would hitch-hike if I had to to get away from this one. "Cliff on one side, water on the other" doesn't appeal to her. Her cat is sweet, but she doesn't like the cat, either. Her husband has far too much patience for his own good, and the "gets the blame" for anything she doesn't like. The next stop should be one of those places with quickie divorces.

  3. Poor Cindy. This lady wouldn't be happy if she were living in a castle with servants for her every whim. She needs to learn that the journey is the fun part.

  5. What a love this one is!

She would complain if she got hung with a brand new rope, which might not be a bad idea.

  6. My video is tongue-n-cheek....it was meant to be an amusing look at a RV trip...not serious....we got over ourselves, you all should too!
    PS
    I love my cat!

  7. myslady - Being new to RV'ing myself, and not being much for roughing it, I can appreciate your sentiment. However, in doing the video you do not project an impression of either humor or irony - rather bitterness and vitriol. I am glad you "got over yourself", you should probably now work on getting over the urge to posts videos.

  8. It appears Cindy's husband is holding the camera and trying not to laugh! Wow the people on here sure are a bit too serious. Cindy my wife and I will meet you and your husband for a boring old time anytime!

  9. Aren't you guys being kind of harsh? It's a good thing none of you have ever had a bad day on camera. She shouldn't have advertised her bad day for the whole world to see, but that doesn't mean you get to make jokes about her hanging from a rope for goodness' sake. Haven't you ever been in a snit in your life? Show some tolerance. RVers are known for their congeniality, so you might want to live up to that.

  10. Hey guys, it's Rick.
Cindi really does have a great sense of humor and is a lot of fun to be married to. Too bad it's a little bit over some of your heads. She was just trying to have some fun.
Seriously though, the RV community is a lot nicer than what's appearing on these responses. Think about it. If you ran into the kind of people responding here would you want to go RVing? Fortunately I know better even from my limited travels. The RV people we've met out on the road have been fantastic and extremely friendly.
I have to tell you that Cindi was a upset by some of the rougher comments here.
That said, I laughed my ass off at some of your responses.
Next trip starts this Friday and I can't wait!!!

    Rick

  11. Cindy's attempt at humor give RVing a bad view. Anyone involved in RVing does not try to demean the lifestyle. And, there is absolutely no humor in bitchiness. There are ways to make a misadventure humorous. Take a writing course to see how it is done.

  12. One thing for sure, most of you, do make me NEVER want to associate with the likes of you! I met many people on my brief journeys that I like, thank God not like most of you....intolerant, bigots. Most of you who responded here are the ones that give RVing a bad name, you need to look at yourselves before you put me down. Hang me? It was boring. I have a right to speak my piece, and to the intolerant #13, I am published...so get a life....

  13. Hello Cindy and Rick, I thought your video was very funny. Anyone who couldn't tell that it was done in good taste is an idiot. Some of the comments were funny too. Would love to run into you guys somewhere down the road. Take care............mike
