Classic Airstream motorhome still serves as astronaut limo

Since 1984, a specially converted Airstream class a motorhome, called the Astrovan, has been the limo for astronauts headed to the pad for a Space Shuttle launch, and for the return to quarters after landing, at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This vehicle is not meant for camping. But to the astronauts who have ridden it in for the last 27 years, it's very special. Learn why in this four minute video.
