Different types of TV satellite systems for RVs explained

Owner Ron Lichtsinn, owner of Lichtsinn Motors in Forest City, Iowa, explains the four types of satellite systems for RVs, from manual to fully automatic. They cost from about $500 to $2,000 installed and typically deliver programming from both the Dish and Direct TV systems. The video runs four minutes.

  1. You forgot to mention trees blocking the built in satellite dishes. I used to have one on my roof that I often couldn't get signal to through the trees. Now I have a Winegard portable automatic dish that I LOVE! Should have bought it years ago. Saved $200 catching it on sale too at CW.
