But I doubt that a screened opening on...</title><summary type='text'>Nice tips.  But I doubt that a screened opening on one end of your holding tank would provide ventilation.  You would need two openings, preferably on opposite sides of the tank.  The method in this video would provide some air near the drain opening, but no real air flow.  Remember that the gray water drains in the RV have water in them to prevent air/fumes moving into your living space.
