Scary RV fire at gas station

You'll go a long time before you witness a scarier scene than this one at a Midland, Michigan gas station. It seems to take forever for the fire department to show up and then when it does arrive you wonder when the firemen might decide to start putting out the fire. We just hope the owner of this RV had a good insurance policy!

  1. Very slow response time and when on scene too much standing around waiting for directions. Need to work on training and response times.

  2. For a volunteer group their response time from three miles away was excellent...then it took almost five minutes to put water on the fire. That is totally unacceptable. The store people never did the right thing either...you notice the people coming and going all the time. They should have booted everyone out of the store, locked the doors, and waited. Oh well, all I can say is that we would have had the fire knocked down by the time they first put water on it.
